Cinch Self Storage Community Art Competition Terms & Conditions

This competition is run by UK Storage Consultancy Ltd (Cinch Self Storage).

 In consideration of the opportunity to enter the Community Art Competition (Competition) to win one cash prize of £500, entrants hereby agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. The Competition opens on Tuesday 7th June 2022, 12pm BST and closes on Monday 7th August 2022, 23:59pm BST. Valid entries submitted after the stated closing time will not be considered.
2. To enter and be eligible to win the Competition, participants must be a resident of the United Kingdom and be aged over eighteen years old. The Competition is not open to any employees of Cinch Self Storage, any of its affiliates, their families, agents or anyone else connected with Cinch Self Storage or the Competition.
3. No purchase necessary. A maximum of one (1) valid entry into the Competition is permitted per person. Only valid entries will be accepted. To make a valid entry into the Competition, participants must do the following:

    

   a) Fill out the Competition entry form; and
   b) Submit a .jpeg image of their artwork via the official entry form, which must relate to the theme of ‘local community’.

    

4. There is one (1) prize available (Prize), of £500 cash.
5. Cinch Self Storage shall appoint at least two jurors (Jurors) to judge the Competition.
6. The Jurors shall judge all entries using the following criteria:
   
   

   a) Creativity and originality
   b) Clarity of theme expression
   c) Quality of design, composition and technique
   d) Balance of colour and tone
   e) Overall impression; and 
   f) How well the work stands as a complete, standalone work of art

7. One (1) prospective winner (Prospective Winner) of the art competition will be selected by the Jurors after the closing date of the competition. The Prospective Winner will be contacted and will be given instructions as to how to claim the Prize. The Prospective Winner must claim the Prize within 10 days of being selected as the Prospective Winner at which point they shall become the winner of the art competition (Winner).
8. If, for any reason, the Prospective Winner cannot claim the Prize 10 days after being contacted and/or cannot be contacted by a representative of Cinch Self Storage, we reserve the right to select another prospective winner in accordance with clause 7 at which point the Prospective Winner shall cease to be the Prospective Winner and will forfeit any Prize.
9. Personal information obtained during the Competition will be used in the administration of the Competition.
10. Cinch Self Storage reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
11. Cinch Self Storage reserves the right to cancel this competition at any time without notice.
12. Participants in the Competition hereby grant Cinch Self Storage a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use their valid entry in whole or in part in marketing and publicity materials.
13. Participants in the Competition hereby agree to provide Cinch Self Storage with an image of themselves within 7 days of them becoming the Winner and hereby grant a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use said image in whole or in part in marketing and publicity materials.
14. For the avoidance of doubt, Cinch Self Storage shall have no obligation to make use of any valid entry.
15. Decisions made by the Jurors and Cinch Self Storage in relation to the operation and adjudication of this Competition are final.
16. Where entries feature persons under 18 years of age, participants hereby warrant that they have obtained all permissions necessary from the parents and/or guardians of said persons to incorporate said persons within said entries.
17. Participants agree to release Cinch Self Storage from any liability, howsoever arising, including but not limited to liabilities arising in tort.
18. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook and all participants agree to release Facebook from any liability, howsoever arising, including but not limited to liabilities arising in tort.
